PRO-LIFE SA is dedicated to protecting and securing the most basic right in our society - the life of each and every person must be protected regardless of age, disability, stage of development or degree of dependence on others. Each human being from the moment of fertilisation is a unique person and possesses an INTRINSIC RIGHT TO LIFE. WITHOUT THIS RIGHT, ANY OTHER RIGHT IS MEANINGLESS.

We aim to assist those who have become victims of social, economic or medical conditions by which their very existence is threatened.

		We defend the innocent in their right to life
		We defend women’s rights and are there for those harmed or potentially harmed by abortion
		We defend the rights of the dying to have dignity and care until the end of their natural life
		We provide an avenue to: Pregnancy support 24 hour telephone counselling Face to face counselling Practical support Post abortion counselling

To focus attention of legislators to inherent dangers of existing or proposed legislation:

• We write to politicians concerning legislation opposed to life

• We visit politicians

• We engage in various other political activities

To help the community to understand the real issues which affect the lives of all of us:

• We provide informative books, pamphlets, videos and tapes

• We are available to speak in schools, organisations, etc.
  

Who can join?

Our members come from many different social, religious, age, and political backgrounds. We are bound by a common dedication to protecting all human life.

Our association relies solely on donations and members' subscriptions.

Membership to PRO-LIFE SA gives you the opportunity to strengthen the organisation and add weight to our representation in the community. It provide a structure for collective community action in defence of the right to life. Members receive our quarterly newsletter containing current local and overseas news and pro-life information updates.
